There is enough toner to refill a CE255A cartridge four (4) times, or a CE255X (55X), Q5942A (42A) cartridge two (2) times or a Q1339A (39A), Q5942X (42X), Q5945A (45A) cartridge one (1) time.
Refilling laser cartridges is actually quite easy. Our instructions will guide you step by step.
With this kit, you can reuse your expensive laser cartridge for huge $$$ savings. In addition, reusing your cartridge is an environmentally-friendly choice.
NOTE: The refilling procedure requires making a few holes in the cartridge. An electric drill is not recommended; it is much easier and highly recommended that you use our specialized toner holemaking tool.
The Q1339A (39A), Q5942A (42A) Q5942X (42X) and Q5945A (45A) cartridges have a chip that indicates the toner level. If you do not replace this chip, the printer will always tell you that your cartridge is "empty". The printer will work without a new chip, but it will be impossible to know the level of toner. It is recommended to change this chip every time you refill See "Reset Chips".
